The #1 Amazon complaint in this category is "didn't fit my monitor / desk." We check it before you buy — against the manufacturer's own specs.

Does the VESA fit?
Your monitor's hole pattern (100×100, 75×75…) — or an honest "this one has no VESA holes, here's what to do."
Will it hold?
Panel weight vs the arm's rated load, with a safety margin. Heavy 49" ultrawides get flagged, not guessed.
Can it clamp your desk?
Glass = don't clamp. Hollow IKEA tops = use a backing plate. We say so.
